Three-point shooting has played a bigger role for the Spurs vs. Wolves than it seems

The second round of the 2026 NBA Playoffs has been … interesting. On one hand, there’s been two yawner series, with the Thunder comfortably (albeit not dominantly) sweeping the short-handed Lakers, while the Knicks swept a tired, limping 76ers team in the East. On the other, you have two thrilling (but not “beautiful”) series heading […]

The Bucks have the no. 10 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, where they can go in a number of different directions. Analysts around the internet have made a case for who they believe the 10th pick should be. Here’s a look at three potential outcomes for the selection: Nate Ament, Tennessee Kevin O’Connor […]

Comparing Jalen Brunson’s 2026 postseason to last year’s ECF run

Jalen Brunson’s 2025 postseason run was, once again, special. Just like pretty much every other playoff appearance he’s made as a Knick, he made history, joining lists filled with names like Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Larry Bird, Kobe Bryant, and Steph Curry. Statistically, it was his second-best one, inferior only to the year prior’s, as […]

The Ideal Trail Blazers Trade Target This Summer

Portland Trail Blazers trade talk is going to hit a fevered pitch this summer. The Blazers are in prime position to make moves. They’re a good team on the fringes of the NBA Playoffs scene, but not great. They have a couple veteran contracts for salary-matching purposes, young players to add seasoning to a deal, […]

Seahawks sign 2 rookie receivers, waive Devean Deal

While the NFL world is fixated on the schedule release, the Seattle Seahawks have made a few tweaks to their 90-man roster. On Thursday, the team added undrafted rookie receivers Rashad Rochelle and Trayvon Rudolph. Rochelle was part of Carolina Panthers rookie minicamp as a tryout player, likewise for Rudolph with the Tennessee Titans. Former […]

Could a reunion with LeBron James be in the cards for the Miami Heat this summer?

After suffering a 4-0 series sweep to the reigning NBA champion OKC Thunder in the Western Conference semifinals, the LA Lakers will approach a long offseason filled with questions. The biggest one will be surrounding the future of LeBron James. For the first time since 2018, James is set to hit unrestricted free agency. Vikings 2026 Schedule: What We Think We Know Right Now

We are getting closer to the release of the 2026 NFL regular season schedule, which is an event because the marketing folks in the NFL offices on Park Avenue know how to keep this league relevant pretty much year-round now. We’re seeing more and more leaks and rumors about the Minnesota Vikings’ schedule for the […]

Minnesota Vikings News and Links: It’s Schedule Release Day!

Queue the fart noise machine! I guess it is useful if you are planning on attending games. Maybe some early predictors will find it helpful to know when they play the teams that were already assigned to play. Obviously the team should go 17-0 right? The team still has not processed Jauan Jennings’ contract with […]

More On Last Night’s Win

Since last night’s game, I’ve read or heard the term ‘turning point’ dozens of times. Mostly, people are hoping it turns out to be one, but let’s see if they can win a couple in a row or three of five or so. There were a few moments that didn’t make it into last night’s […]

What Mavericks may be looking for with No. 9 pick

The Dallas Mavericks will be on the clock with the No. 9 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft. For a team that already has Kyrie Irving and Cooper Flagg leading the way, the Mavericks aren’t exactly looking for the next superstar for the franchise. Instead, they are looking for players that can complement the […]

What can Heat offer for Giannis Antetokounmpo this summer?

The biggest name on the trade block this summer is Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo. Ideally, the Bucks would like for this situation to be settled by next month’s NBA Draft, less than six weeks away. And we know the Miami Heat will be interested, among several other teams. But what can the Heat offer, […] The post What can Heat offer for Giannis Antetokounmpo this summer? appeared first on Hot Hot Hoops - Miami HEAT NBA Blog .

It felt like the league had passed Daryl Morey by

Daryl Morey’s tenure as Sixers’ president of basketball operations has come to an end. He will be remembered in Philadelphia as another key figure who couldn’t get over the hump that is the second round of the playoffs.  He leaves the Sixers in a very similar situation to how he found them. The Joel Embiid […]

All-22 review: Why Julian Neal’s tape screams ‘Seahawks cornerback’

With Riq Woolen gone this offseason, the Seattle Seahawks entered the draft needing to replenish the cornerback room. Seattle re-signed Josh Jobe and added depth options like Noah Igbinoghene and Shemar Jean-Charles, but none of those moves truly changed the identity of the group. In the third round, Seattle finally addressed that by selecting Julian […]
