After a strong ending to last season for Mouhamed Gueye, many are wondering if they’ll see him take another step in his game this year. Due to Jalen Johnson’s season-ending shoulder injury and several trades, Gueye played in 27 of the Hawks’ last 30 games and started in all but one of them. In 16 […]

Mavericks vs. Jazz Player Grades: A surprise top grade

The Jazz are winless through three preseason games. That’s not much of a surprise. But the person with the best grade in tonight’s game sure is. (Note on Grading Scale) All performances are relative. We won’t expect the same from Jusuf Nurkic as we do Lauri Markkanan. That said, if someone plays well, they get […]

Comments from the Other Side - Cavaliers 10/12/25

I was amazing to me to see how few people were posting on the Cavs game threads.  Most of the forums that were very active when LeBron was back with the team are ghost towns without any posts for a couple of years.  Others have game threads but very few posters.  Very sad.  So, not a lot of comments today.  The Celtics looked good with the caveat that the Cavs starters didn't play.  I really like Minott, Boucher and Garza.  Simons can score and I don't ...

Comments from the Other Side - Raptors 10/10/25

This game meant nothing and didn't show us much.  Brown and White sat out and all of the Raptors starters sat out.  The Celtics built a 26 point lead while their starters played but the end of the bench guys couldn't hold it and staged a basketball giveaway in the 4th quarter.  It was an entertaining game and I'm liking what I see from Garza, Minott, Boucher and Gonzalez.  I liked how much they still like Boucher.  And love that they think of Pritchard as a Raptors Kil...

On a day where all 32 National Hockey League franchises are in action, our club will get the opportunity to kick off the day’s first match.
