Before the Blackhawks take on the Bruins on Saturday evening we saw one encouraging sign on the ice, but got some non-news that isn’t quite as exciting. The encouraging news: Frank Nazar joined the team at the morning skate. I shot the video below of him taking some rushes with the boys. He was still in a non-contact jersey and wasn’t part of the lines; we didn’t expect him back yet. But head coach Jeff Blashill said he’ll fully practice with the team on Sunday. Hey look at that! F...
The Sceptres get to meet the Goldeneyes.
The Blackhawks will celebrate their Dynasty Era as part of their Centennial celebration tonight before hosting the Bruins. There will be a collection of notable players there from the 2010s championship teams at the United Center for the ceremony. And, yes, there is a Duncan Keith bobblehead being distributed to the first 8,000 fans who attend. Pretty sweet display setup in the Atrium for fans before tonight’s #Blackhawks game and Centennial celebration Team says you MIGHT still be able...
As the Chicago Bulls gear up for a second United Center Derrick Rose Night in as many years, this time to retire his jersey (a thing they could have easily done the first time around, had Michael Reinsdorf gotten his act together), they’ve been ramping up the hype machine. It’s a good thing, too, because the on-court product has been woefully inconsistent. On Friday night, the Bulls blew a fourth-quarter comeback attempt against the lowly Brooklyn Nets , thanks in large part to a pair of ...
Joel Pereira: 5 Failed to claim a cross in the fifth minute, which led to a goal ruled out for offside. Another instance in the 27th minute of coming out of the goal to claim the ball and failing, bailed out by Finley Burns. Failed to claim a corner in the 35th minute also. Good […]
The Wisconsin Badgers are back in action on Saturday, taking on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights as they ride a three-game win streak. Tip-off is set for 1:00 p.m. at the Kohl Center. Wisconsin is coming off a thrilling 78-75 buzzer-beating win over the Minnesota Gophers that saw them start slow, get ahead in the second […]
There’s officially nine openings for head coaching positions in the NFL as of January 17, almost a third of the league will have a new head coach next season. Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti, who’s led the Hoosiers all the way from the losingest program in the history of college football to the College Football […]
It’s time. Playoff football is here in Seattle! The last time coach Mike Macdonald’s defense saw this San Francisco 49ers team, it beat the breaks off of them. The Seattle Seahawks held their rivals to the fewest points (3) a Kyle Shanahan offense has ever put up in San Francisco. Having that been said, coach […]
Moda Center will be packed with Blazers fans screaming “Beat LA” and Lakers fans decked out in purple and gold tonight as the beat-up Portland Trail Blazers host the battered visiting Los Angeles Lakers. Each team’s roster is decimated by injury to key contributors. LA will sit Luka Dončić, Austin Reaves (and perhaps Deandre Ayton and […]

The Cleveland Browns find themselves in a quandary when it comes to the quarterback position and the 2026 NFL Draft. Late last season, the Browns appeared to be a lock for the No. 1 overall selection, which would have allowed them their choice of quarterbacks. (Hello, Fernando Mendoza!) But after a late-season “surge” of two […]
Some of the top names in the Detroit Tigers’ 2025 draft class may take a while to really get cooking. With the group headed by prep shortstop Jordan Yost and prep catcher Michael Oliveto, the Tigers are unlikely to see one of them rushing the upper levels anytime soon. In the meantime, eighth round pick […]
As the reactions to Ben Johnson’s now-infamous handshake with Matt LaFleur and “F— the Packers” postgame chat made its rounds this week, pundits made sure to let us know that it wasn’t just the Packers who were mad about Johnson’s perceived slight toward LaFleur and his team. It’s the whole crew of Los Angeles Rams […]

Although the Dallas Cowboys’ season was cut short due to a disappointing 7-9-1 record, the offense still thrived. Two of their new additions, Javonte Williams and George Pickens, produced in their first season with the Dallas Cowboys, with the latter being named a second-team All-Pro. Coincidentally, both players did it just at the right time […]
From David Beckham to Ryan Giggs, from Phil Neville to Paul Scholes, Manchester United’s famed Carrington academy has gone on to produce quite a few future club icons for the Red Devils. However, it’s also produced a number of players like Danny Welbeck and Ryan Shawcross who, despite not excelling at Old Trafford, have gone […]
The Chicago Blackhawks host the Boston Bruins on Saturday night, looking to reset their homestand after dropping three straight games at the United Center. The Bruins have put together a decently strong season so far, sitting in a wild card spot with a .583 points percentage (27-19-2), which is no small feat considering they’re slogging through what is arguably the toughest division in hockey — one where every team is north of .500. They’ve been especially hot of late, going 7–2–1 in thei...

Previously, we did a 25-game evaluation of each player! Now, let’s do one midway through! Bam Adebayo: Skinny: After 25 games, we gave Adebayo an A- for his efforts […] The post Grading each Miami Heat player halfway through season appeared first on Hot Hot Hoops - Miami HEAT NBA Blog .

“Regarding our general condition, the team is definitely in a better place than it has been the last 15-20 days, around the end of December and start of January. [Evan] Ndicka is back and we got through the suspensions of [Mario] Hermoso, [Gianluca] Mancini and [Bryan] Cristante. [Lorenzo] Pellegrini will return and probably Ferguson too. […]
Hoping for prices to fall the closer we get to the day of the College Football Playoff National Championship? That’s still possible, but Saturday’s prices aren’t a sign of good things to come. Get in ticket prices reached a previous peak of $3,766 on January 9, the day of Indiana’s win over Oregon in the […]
Mike Macdonald has the Seattle Seahawks right where fans dreamed they would be when he was hired two years ago, and that is playing at home in the postseason. However, in spite of what is all but certain to be an absolutely insane atmosphere at Lumen Field on Saturday when the San Francisco 49ers come […]
