Nothing but excellent things have been said about new Browns HC Todd Monken since he was hired, and one of his former employers just gave him another spectacular endorsement. National championship-winning Georgia Bulldogs HC Kirby Smart worked closely with Monken when the two were at UGA from 2020-2022, and Monken was a huge part of […]
If you are looking for a sign that we have reached the silly season of the NFL offseason, look no further than a rumor put out this week by The Athletic’s Zack Rosenblatt that the Jets contact former Raiders and Buccaneers head coach Jon Gruden about joining Aaron Glenn’s staff. For whatever it’s worth, WFAN’s […]
The Philadelphia Eagles are hiring former Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard as their new pass game coordinator, according to a report from NFL insider Adam Schefter. This news comes one day after the Eagles hired Green Bay Packers quarterbacks coach Sean Mannion as their new offensive coordinator. Grizzard was seemingly one of the […]
This is speculation, but sources are reportedly reporting that Mike Evans may want out of the Tampa Bay Buaccaneers, but he’s not ready to retire, yet, and so is there a chance that the Los Angeles Rams could make a move and add Evans? Sources: Mike Evans Could be Done With Buccaneers, Cowboys to Franchise […]

It was another big night for Darren Raddysh as the Tampa Bay Lightning’s defenseman posted three points, including the game-winning goal in a 4-1 victory over the Winnipeg Jets as the Bolts closed out January with their 11th win of the month. It’s the most victories they’ve had in a month since they went 12-1-2 in February of 2019. It was a fast-paced game with a willing opponent in Winnipeg, but the Bolts built a 2-0 lead, then scored three minutes after the Jets had cut the lead to 2-1. From...
The Pittsburgh Steelers are welcoming several new faces to their coaching staff, which you can follow along with in our assistant coach tracker. With new additions also come departures, and the Steelers have already seen several coaches go elsewhere. Special teams coordinator Danny Smith took the same role with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and offensive […]
The Winnipeg Jets began their road trip with a win in New Jersey, but the competition will get more difficult in the second stop when they visit the Tampa Bay Lightning. The True North victory didn’t result in our club gaining any ground in the wildcard race, as the San Jose Sharks, Los Angeles Kings, & Seattle Kraken all won on Tuesday too. Therefore the Jets were in the 4th worst slot in the NHL team points percentage until the New York Rangers dropped another contest last night, leaving Win...

The Pittsburgh Pirates have been busy this offseason in both free agency and the trade market. The team signed designated hitter Ryan O’Hearn and traded for Tampa Bay Rays infielder Brandon Lowe, improving their offense. However, they have been slated for another big trade. Bleacher Report writer Kerry Miller suggested a trade that would send […]

The Rays front office has quietly done a nice job restructuring the outfield group – so quietly that the improvements may have even flown under the radar of many fans. The outfield production was less than ideal last season. Together, Rays outfielders produced an 85 wRC+ – which was the 5th lowest among all outfields […]
It finally looks like Tampa Bay Lightning might be getting some of their injured blueliners back into the line-up. While the team wasn’t on the ice for practice on Tuesday, off the ice, the organization made a couple of moves that indicate at least one of their injured defenseman may be ready to go. With the Lightning re-assigning Simon Lundmark and Jakob Pelletier, the door is open for Ryan McDonagh to return to the line-up on Thursday against the Winnipeg Jets.
The reassignment of Pelle...
Jake Cronenworth has been a mainstay in the San Diego Padres organization since 2020 when he came to San Diego in a trade with the Tampa Bay Rays. The Buffalo Bills promoted offensive coordinator Joe Brady on Tuesday, naming him as the next head coach and replacing his former boss, Sean McDermott. Recent examples of this have not gone well. Only three head coaches that were promoted since 2000 have a winning record with their teams; Todd Bowles with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, […]

Clayton Keller was behind the Tampa Bay Lightning defense with nothing but open air between him and Andrei Vasilevskiy. The three-time 30-goal scorer had the puck on his stick and a chance to tie the game. All he had to do was slide the puck past the Lightning goaltender. For the briefest of seconds, there was daylight between the pads, but when the backhand shot was released, Vasilevskiy’s leg was there to deflect the puck away. The score remained 1-0 in the Lightning’s favor, and they would ...

We were so close to having some good news in regards to the Tampa Bay Lightning injury situation. Ryan McDonagh was upgraded to day-to-day. Victor Hedman was skating. Things were starting to come together. Then the Columbus game happened. With Max Crozier already out due to an illness, the Lightning lost both Erik Cernak (checked into the boards) and Charle-Edouard D’Astous (knee-on-knee collision at the blue line) before the final whistle was blown.
With the Lightning enjoying a day off,...
