Round 1 Game 6 RECAP: Boston’s season comes to close in 4-1 LOSS

First Period Things began with a miserable sequence that ended up with Alex Tuch being left all alone, and that had the Bruins down 1-0 early. Then, late in the period, the Bruins were hemmed into their own end, and the Sabres moved in just the right way to give Mattias Samuelsson a perfect screen […]

There was the usual “wrong cue on the teleprompter” gag right before the nominees were announced, and then Druski announced JSN […]

Who Is Sunderland’s Most Significant Signing Since League One Relegation?

Ben McKevitt says… Enzo Le Fée! What does a hard-working, defensively solid Sunderland team which is slightly lacking in creativity need when trying to escape the clutches of the Championship? Well, a French midfield magician of course. Enter Enzo Le Fée. I may just be his biggest fan but I think it’s completely fair to […]

Simon Adingra’s Exit Is A Sign Of The Times At Sunderland

Sunderland’s Emirates Return: From 2021 Cup Run To Premier League Test

It’s another trip ‘darn sarf’ on Saturday to take on Premier League leaders Arsenal at the Emirates, and it’s a fixture I’m really looking forward to. It’s our first game there in just over four years and the circumstances could not be more different than the Carabao Cup quarter-final in December 2021. Then, we walked […]

Overall, the two teams combined for 147 penalty minutes on the night. Oh yeah, and the Lightning won 6-1 behind Andrei Vasilevskiy’s 33 save...

Jon Horst and the Bucks front office have decided to waive journeyman Nigel Hayes-Davis, who got another shot in the NBA this season with the Phoenix Suns after a long and successful career overseas. Hayes-Davis, a wing-forward combo, actually would have fitted a position of need for the Bucks. But at 31 years old and […]
