For what it is worth, Jayson Tatum has yet to make any announcement about his return to the court this season. He has not ruled out the possibility that he could miss the entire season. That makes sense because any number of setbacks could move his timeline back in an abundance of caution. However, all […]

Now that we are at the end of the season, it’s time to update you on former Jets players, how they fared during the 2025 season and their contractual status heading into next year. We are covering this in five parts. Having looked at offensive and defensive players from AFC teams last week, we will […]
The Winnipeg Jets ' season has not gone anywhere close to how they envisioned it ahead of the season. They finished with the best record in the NHL in 2024-25 and made it to the second round of the playoffs, but didn't have the same start and things only got much worse. Injuries and performances outside of the top line and a couple of defensemen have them where they are, tied for 28th in the NHL with a record of 22-26-8 and 11 points out of a playoff spot. With there only being a handful of ga...

It’s now time to roll everything up and give him a final […]
Once the hockey players arrived in Italy, the action moved on in a fast an furious manner. Since Wednesday, nations have been playing each other in their round robin groups to establish seeding this week. With the United States winning 5-1 over Germany on Sunday, all of the seeding has now been set and we […]
The Calgary Flames appear to be somewhat open to going into a rebuild. They have some talented young pieces and plenty of players that they can move for more assets. They may not want to tear it completely down, but while sitting 29th in the NHL this season, there is interest coming their way for a number of their players. One name in particular that is intriguing and would be a big one is Mackenzie Weegar. David Pagnotta said, "They haven't approached him about his no-trade. There's already s...

The men’s Olympic hockey tournament continues — and concludes — this week with the knockout phase and medal rounds starting on Tuesday. Dominik Szoboszlai was a key player for Liverpool over the past two seasons, but few on the outside seemed to expect him to take the step forward that he has in 2025-26, becoming one of the few bright spots in a struggling side. In fact, many thought the signing of Florian Wirtz would impact his […]

Welcome to the weekly Olympic Thread. As a reminder, the men’s hockey teams with representatives from the Predators are: USA (Dr. Kevin), Finland (Saros, Haula), Sweden (Forsberg) and Switzerland (Josi).
Hockey Thoughts: USA, Canada, Slovakia and Finland are through to the quarterfinals. Games between the remaining eight teams on Tuesdays will send the other four teams through….I have mixed thoughts on the Tom Wilson fight. First I like that there is no fighting in the Olympics, but it ...
LOS ANGELES — Last week, Jaylen Brown shared an Instagram story that highlighted the Celtics’ record this year compared to last year. The graphic, created by NBC Sports Boston, compared the 2024-2025 Celtics’ and the 2025-2026 Celtics’ record, net, offensive, and defensive ratings at the All-Star break, ultimately demonstrating how, remarkably, both teams’ on-court success […]
