It was not a pretty offensive showing for the New York Jets in Week 7 against the Carolina Panthers. For a second consecutive game, the Jets failed to reach the end zone. Things got so bad that the team made a quarterback change at halftime, benching Justin Fields. Anybody who watched the game could see […]
This was one of the best games of Jalen Hurts’ career. Against the Minnesota Vikings, Hurts finished with a perfect passer rating (158.3), completing 19 of 23 passes for 326 yards and three touchdowns. The ball placement, timing, command, and confidence were all elite. This Philadelphia Eagles performance was a weird one to break down. […]
Longtime New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is among 12 coaching nominees eligible to be inducted in to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2026. Belichick is eligible for induction for the first time this year, as the Hall of Fame recently reduced the waiting period for former coaches to just one season. […]
Welcome back for another round of fantasy football ramblings. This week, the Byepocalypse, and looking down the road at the playoffs. Last session’s grades: Bryce Young – 6/10 A good spot start against Dallas, and a salvageable start against the Jets cut short by injury. Hassan Haskins – 1/10 Lost the open gig to Kimani […]
On Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs opened a can of something-or-other on the Las Vegas Raiders, escorting them off GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium after a 31-0 beatdown. Here are three things that occur to me after reflecting on Sunday’s game. 1. Stone Forsyth didn’t cause Omarr Norman-Lott’s injury No matter what I think about […]
Last week, after beating the Jacksonville Jaguars, the national media began looking at the Seattle Seahawks as a legitimate playoff team, and perhaps even a Super Bowl contender. However, how will this change after the Seahawks stout victory over the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football? Well, this week, despite the win, the national media […]
It wasn’t always pretty (particularly in the first half), but the Green Bay Packers pulled out an ugly victory over the Arizona Cardinals in week 7 to get to a 4-1-1 record. As we do every week, we’re taking a look at the performance of the passing game. So let’s stop talking about it and […]
The bye week comes with mixed feelings. On one hand, Jacksonville is 4-3 with the toughest part of its schedule out of the way. On the other hand, there’s been a lot of uninspiring football over the past two games. The Jaguars got bullied in consecutive weeks. “We cannot, absolutely not, go back and try […]
After a long drought the tide is finally coming back in. The Patriots are surging in 2025, extending their hot streak and climbing the power rankings after a dominant 31-13 Week 7 victory over the Titans. This marked their fourth win in a row, improving their record to 5-2 and putting them alone atop the […]

Waiver Wire Week 8 Week 7 delivered another wave of chaos. Mike Evans broke his collarbone and will miss most of the season. Puka Nacua sat out with an ankle injury, Nico Collins suffered a concussion, and Jayden Daniels exited with a hamstring strain. All four absences create target vacuums and shift depth charts heading […]
Ever see a defensive coordinator happy about allowing a 21-play drive? You’re about to!
Is it all slowly coming together for this Dallas rookie class? If the Washington game is anything to go by then it was a slam dunk by the Cowboys rookies as they really played above expectation. Let’s dive into it and see how each rookies performed in the huge Week 7 victory. OG Tyler Booker […]
Four in a row! Th Chicago Bears have won four football games in a row. I didn’t even think that was allowed anymore. I mean, I knew it was allowed but it sure felt like the Bears weren’t allowed to win that many games in a row. I still wouldn’t categorize the Bears as a […]
We will take it. Ensnared in the spookiest home stretch of their already spooky existence, the Seattle Seahawks exorcised their home demons ahead of Halloween. Lumen Field is a Little Shop of Horrors no more. Indeed, the Scream-ing 68,632 in attendance Saw their favorite defense slowly but surely Chainsaw Massacre the Houston Texans on a […]
During the first month of the season, Los Angeles Rams star Puka Nacua appeared to be a lock for Offensive Player of the Year. Following his ankle injury that has kept him out for most of L.A.’s last two games, the Seahawks’ Jaxon Smith-Njigba might be on his way to stealing OPOY honors from Nacua. […]
The NFL trade deadline is November 4th, just after week 9. With the Raiders sitting at 2-4 headed into week a week 7 matchup vs the Chiefs they hold a bye week and then face Jaguars prior to the trade deadline which barring anything will likely put the Raiders at 2-6 and fully out of […]
This is a Ben Johnson appreciation post.
The Chicago Bears have never been a team known for its offensive prowess. Because even when it has had elite, Hall of Fame-caliber offensive playmakers, the defense still took center stage. But with that being said, the Ben Johnson era could be different. At a minimum, we are starting to see the tide turn for a team that is starting to show its offensive chops.

See, I told you there was nothing to worry about. I was never in doubt that Brian Callahan would figure out the offensive line, Greg Harbaugh Jr would call a great game to get the ground game going and Danny Collins’ defense would keep Nebraska out of the end zone and putting Dylan Raiola on […]
Last week, the Kansas City Chiefs were an easy call to move up in power rankings after a 30-17 win over the Detroit Lions. This week, a 31-0 shutout of the Las Vegas Raiders continued the trend. Every power ranking we’re tracking moved them up again — including a few with the Chiefs at the […]
Injuries have been ramping up for the San Francisco 49ers, who found a way to improve to 5-2 on Sunday with a 20-10 win over the Atlanta Falcons. San Francisco will be without pass-rusher Bryce Huff and center Jake Brendel for multiple weeks due to hamstring injuries, adding to their already-loaded injury list. Huff’s loss […]
The Detroit Lions continue to find new ways to win football games. Their victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 7 brought both teams’ records to 5-2, but the manner in which the Lions pulled off the win was in a way nobody saw coming. Let’s take a look at this week’s snap counts […]
The Pittsburgh Steelers fell to 4-2 after a rough defensive outing against the Bengals last Thursday. Head coach Mike Tomlin noted that wide receiver Calvin Austin will return to practice and that they are “optimistic” about him suiting up in Week 8 against the Green Bay Packers. However, one of their captains will be out […]
The Steelers will host the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night, marking the first time that Aaron Rodgers has faced his former team since being traded to the New York Jets in 2023. The Steelers have luckily had a relatively clean bill of health over the last couple weeks, and it looks as if they […]
