Rebels in the Pros: NFL Week 6
Week 6 of the NFL highlighted the return of former Rebel AJ Brown, who logged 10 targets for the New England Patriots but managed just three catches for 27 yards. DK Metcalf led the league with 15 targets, pulling in 11 for 93 yards. Other notable performances included Tavius Robinson’s three tackles and a half‑sack against the Browns, DJ Jones’s three tackles (one for loss) and QB hit, and Elijah Moore’s first reception of the season for the Eagles. 4-2-5 Report: Ole Miss manhandles Missouri 31-3
Ole Miss crushed Missouri 31-3 on Oct. 17 at Vaught‑Hemingway Stadium, recording its second-ever win over the Tigers. Freshman RB Kewan Lacy spearheaded the offense with 122 yards on 16 carries and a spectacular leap over cornerback Chris Graves Jr., while teammate Makhi Frazier added 101 rushing yards. Quarterback Caleb Cunningham threw his first career TD and moved into eighth on Ole Miss’s all‑time passing list. Defensively, the Rebels limited Missouri’s top rusher Jamal Roberts to 39 yards, forced two sacks, and rookie LB Landon Barnes notched his first interception. The victory extends Ole Miss’s Power 4 home winning streak to 15 games and marks only the second time in a decade the SEC team holds an opponent to three points.
Four star tight end commits to Ole Miss after Mizzou win
Four‑star tight end Rahzario Edwards (6‑6, 210 lb) flips his commitment from Cal to Ole Miss after the Rebels' 31‑3 win over Missouri. The Sacramento native, ranked No. 25 overall and No. 14 tight end in the 2027 class by On3, becomes Ole Miss' 23rd 2027 commit, boosting the Rebels to No. 13 nationally and seventh in the SEC in the latest recruiting rankings. Edwards chose Ole Miss over offers from USC, Oregon, Syracuse and Cal, citing influence from coaches Cody Woodiel and Donte Moncrief.
