The Los Angeles Kings announced today that star forward Kevin Fiala will “miss the start of training camp” after undergoing follow-up surgery connected to the injuries he sustained at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano-Cortina. After missing the back half of last season with injury, Kevin Fiala’s status for the start of the 2026-27 season remains up in the air. The Los Angeles Kings announced Thursday that Fiala had undergone a procedure related to a lower-body injury suffered at the Olympics and is expected to miss the start of training camp.
