Watching my alma mater, Southern Illinois, go on the road, beat a top-15 team in its building by 30 points (and on Senior Day!) got my juices flowing and ready for today’s Bears game. Selfishly, I hope The Committee puts the Salukis in as an at-large team. Their efforts might fall under the “too little, too late” umbrella, but at least it was fun to witness.
Happy Game Day! The Chicago Bears enter Week 12 in sole possession of first place in the NFC North. Who knows how long it will las...

The Pittsburgh Steelers head to Chicago on Sunday to face the NFC North-leading Bears. Through 10 games, first-year head coach Ben Johnson has transformed Caleb Williams and the Chicago offense to the tune of a 7-3 start. However, it will be one of Williams’ toughest tests yet, as he faces a Steelers defense trending upward. […]

Chicago Bears fans have had this one circled on the schedule for some time, as Chicago would host Aaron Rodgers in an opposing team’s uniform, perhaps for the last time in his career. To say that many Bears fans were looking for a little payback against the quarterback who famously said “I own you” to […]

Everyone knows the Chicago Bears need help in the pass-rush department next season, as no one has truly emerged as a threat opposite Montez Sweat. But Chicago has yet another pressing need in the trenches if they want to take off offensively: left tackle. Braxton Jones almost assuredly won’t be here next year, and undrafted […]

Both the Bears and Steelers had lengthy injury and game status reports following Friday’s practices. However, Pittsburgh has updated its report on Saturday, removing the “questionable” tags for veteran defenders Cam Heyward and Darius Slay — they should be good to go on gameday. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers remains questionable for Pittsburgh while outside linebacker Alex […]

This week’s prop article is delayed thanks to Aaron Rodgers. It’s bad enough that he’s tortured me as a Chicago Bears fan for the last 15 years; now, he’s postponing my articles because I was hoping to have some level of information to make the best-informed suggestions for prop plays. And as it turns out, […]

The Packers’ oldest rivals may be the Bears, but their most heated rivalry, at least in the 21st century, has to be with the Minnesota Vikings. That’s probably because of the simple fact that the Vikings have been much better over the last 20 to 30 years than the Bears, which leads to a lot […]

If the season ended right now, the Bears would make the playoffs for the first time since 2018. However, something else interesting would happen for the first time in even longer. The Bears would draft in the second half of the first round. The last time that happened, 2013, Phil Emery picked Kyle Long at […]

I hope you are noticing how awesome Joe Thuney is playing right now.
The Chicago Bears starting left guard has arguably been the team’s best and most consistent player. WIth that being said, I understand how easy it can be for that to slip through the cracks because excellent left guard play doesn’t show up in highlight reels and doesn’t make for viral contenet. However, Joe Thuney’s superlative play at left guard has allowed for others to have those sizzling moments. And we shouldn’t los...
