Duke Director of Track & Field and Cross Country Shawn Wilbourn announced the addition of Cheyenne Nesbitt to the coaching staff ahead of the 2026-27 season. Nesbitt will coach jumps and combined events, in addition to serving as the Blue Devils' director of operations.

Duke Graduate Toni Payne Signs with Inter Milan

Former Duke women's soccer standout Toni Payne has signed a professional contract with Inter Milan.  The 2017 Blue Devil graduate will compete for the top-tier club in Italy's Serie A Femminile and in the UEFA Women's Champions League.

Boozer Named ACC Male Athlete of the Year

Duke freshman Cameron Boozer, the consensus men's basketball national player of the year, has been named the 2025-26 recipient of the Anthony J. McKevlin Award as the ACC Male Athlete of the Year, as voted on by 40 members of the Atlantic Coast Conference media.

Maguire, Bard Collect Academic Awards

DURHAM, N.C.— Duke men's lacrosse seniors Aidan Maguire and Henry Bard were recognized recently for their academic and athletic excellence, garnering USILA Scholar All-America honors. Maguire also picked up a prestigious College Sports Communicators Academic All-America recognition to add to his career award haul.
