Long was named the International League Player of the Month for July. In 22 games, he hit .371 with 13 doubles, 4 homers and 14 RBI. He led the IL in XBH (17) and doubles. Long's been strong in Iowa the last 2 seasons and now will get an opportunity in Miami!

It's been 12 days since we updated the 19-year-old's performance in South Bend. On Sunday, he went 3-for-4 with a walk and a HR. In 18 High-A games, he's hit .422/.474/.859 (1.333) with 4 doubles, 8 HR.
