Record 119 Hoosiers Make Big Ten Distinguished Scholar List
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — The Big Ten Conference announced Monday that 1,912 students on varsity rosters have earned the Big Ten Distinguished Scholar Award. The list includes students from all 18 institutions, plus Johns Hopkins and Notre Dame and 41 sports who have recorded a minimum grade-point average (GPA) of 3.7 or higher for the previous academic year.

Bergman Picked in 18th Round of MLB Draft
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Jackson Bergman is set to join the ranks of Pro Hoosiers. The senior right-handed pitcher was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the 18th round (525 overall) of the MLB Draft on Sunday (July 12) evening to cap off the weekend's proceedings. Indiana has now had at least one player selected in every full draft since 2007.
Serbia, Krickovic Earn Silver at U22 European Championships
DEN HAAG, The Netherlands – After a thrilling five-set win in the semifinals, Serbia ran into top-seeded Italy for the second time in the tournament. Captain and Indiana sophomore setter Teodora Krickovic were awarded the silver medal at the CEV Women's U22 European Championships following a four-set (21-25, 19-25, 25-18, 13-25) loss to the Italians in Sunday's (July 12) final.

Krickovic to Set Serbia at U22 European Championships

The rising sophomore is primed to help guide her native Serbia through the CEV U22 European Volleyball Championships at the beginning of July in the Netherlands. She makes her return to international competition after missing last summer's U21 FIVB World Championships through a finger injury.
Denny Makes USA Collegiate National Team
CARY, N.C. – Following two weeks of training and scrimmages, Indiana utility man Hogan Denny was selected to the final roster for the 2026 USA Collegiate National Team. He was one of 28 players chosen for the roster that will compete in the inaugural World Collegiate Baseball Championships in Taiwan (July 11-15). The entire travel party will leave for Asia tomorrow (July 6) morning.
