Notre Dame continues its journey ranked No. 3 in both the AP Top 25 and Coaches Poll
Notre Dame was almost a 30 point favorite on Saturday night when it beat the undefeated Michigan State Spartans, 27-10. While that may not be overly impressive to people right now, it won’t really matter five, six, seven weeks down the road. It was a game that was never really in doubt, and the Irish […]
Notre Dame Football Stats: Week 3 Review of Win over Michigan State
The Big Picture Notre Dame football locked in its third consecutive win of the 2026-27 season against Michigan State. The Week 3 game’s final score was 27-10, a +17-point differential in favor of the Irish. Notre Dame put on a 10-0 shutout of Michigan State in the first quarter, and the Spartans responded 10-7 in […]
Three Things We Saw in Notre Dame’s Win Over Michigan State
Your Notre Dame Fighting Irish advanced to 3-0 with a vintage win over Michigan State – never in doubt and mostly not close, but still hard-fought and a little nerve-wracking. A lot of people may find this win rather underwhelming and I don’t disagree with them, but I also think it’s worth reminding ourselves that […]
Notre Dame handled a fight in the rain against Michigan State with 27-10 win
They always say to throw the records and the spread out of the window when it’s a rivalry game, but honestly, Notre Dame and Michigan State have been on such a long break — do the rules even apply here? Maybe and maybe not. Either way, the Irish came out on top for a 27-10 […]

If Notre Dame is going to be a championship caliber team, it’ll be on the backs of guys like linebacker Jaiden Ausberry, defensive end Bryce Young, safety Adon Shuler and linebacker Drayk Bowen. This […]

Notre Dame Football Rivalry Trophies: The Megaphone and Michigan State
There are few things in the college football world that give me as much joy as the entire collection of rivalry trophies. College football is supposed to be weird, stupid, and full of things that don’t make sense — but yet full of emotion and nostalgia. Nothing makes that more clear than the rivalry trophies […]

All week long I’ve been talking about how glad I am that Notre Dame VS Michigan State is back on the schedule. It’s a rivalry that meant a lot to me for most of my life, but I have to tell ya… I sure hope I don’t regret how eager I am. It’s been almost […]

Divine Intervention? When the Ball Bounced Notre Dame’s Way Against Michigan State
There are games you win because you execute the game plan perfectly. There are games you win because you are simply the better team. And then there are games when a football takes a strange bounce, somehow lands in exactly the right pair of hands, and leaves everyone wondering whether something—or Someone—might have been looking […]
Notre Dame Football: Irish schedule Nebraska Cornhuskers for future slate
Notre Dame and its football schedule seem to constantly be a topic of conversation, and today they make a little noise by announcing an upcoming series against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The University of Notre Dame football program has announced a two-game series in 2032 and 2033 with the University of Nebraska. […]
Notre Dame and Michigan State should play every year
I’ve grown weary of this new modern age of college football. While many fans are up in arms about the transfer portal and NIL, I’m more annoyed than ever about the scheduling trends across the sport due to an ever-changing postseason and the hunt for television money. A lot of college football traditions and rivalries […]

It’s still a “wait and see” type of Notre Dame running game
We don’t need to rehash what Notre Dame has done on the ground during its first two games of the season for you to know that there are some concerns. While Wisconsin was one thing, the performance against Rice left many people scratching their heads and begging for something more or something different — something. […]

Notre Dame’s 2026 college football schedule has been called many thing over the last eight months, but “tough” or anywhere near the word “hard” was certainly not among them.
